Hi everybody,

I'm going to start installing S.L. 5.2 i386 on my PC and I would like to know if I have the possibility to choose the part of the disk where to install linux.

I mean I have a part of external disk connected with USB port where I have about 100 Gb free ( no primary or extended partion nor logical unit ).

Actually my O.S. is Microsoft Xp and on my hard disk I've lots of data and I wouldn't like to loose them.

Thanks for any help and sorry for my english but I'm italian.
