Hi,
I'm not quite sure what you are asking.

Do you want to run a 32 bit driver on a 64 bit kernel?
If that is what you want to do, I wouldn't do it.  I'm not going to say 
no, because I've been surprised before, but I'd try to keep 64 bit 
drivers with 64 bit kernels.

Do you want to run 32 bit programs on a 64 bit system?
Yes, that is quite possible.  That is more a library issue than a kernel 
issue.
