A colleague of mine recently went to install a system using the SL52 x86_
64
DVD and ran up against a problem with a missing rpm (specifically
system-config-boot-0.2.13-1.el5.x86_64.rpm). I verified that this rpm do
es
not appear on the DVD but does appear on disc7 of the cdrom iso's. Dug a

little further and determined that the following rpm's appear on the cd's

(again, disc7) but not on the DVD:

SL/anaconda-11.1.2.113-3.SL.x86_64.rpm
SL/anaconda-runtime-11.1.2.113-3.SL.x86_64.rpm
SL/compiz-0.0.13-0.37.20060817git.el5.x86_64.rpm
SL/compiz-devel-0.0.13-0.37.20060817git.el5.i386.rpm
SL/compiz-devel-0.0.13-0.37.20060817git.el5.x86_64.rpm
SL/openoffice.org-javafilter-2.3.0-6.5.1.el5_2.x86_64.rpm
SL/openoffice.org-langpack-es-2.3.0-6.5.1.el5_2.x86_64.rpm
SL/openoffice.org-langpack-et_EE-2.3.0-6.5.1.el5_2.x86_64.rpm
SL/openoffice.org-langpack-it-2.3.0-6.5.1.el5_2.x86_64.rpm
SL/system-config-boot-0.2.13-1.el5.x86_64.rpm
SL/xorg-x11-drv-i810-devel-1.6.5-9.13.el5.i386.rpm
SL/xorg-x11-drv-i810-devel-1.6.5-9.13.el5.x86_64.rpm
SL/xorg-x11-drv-via-devel-0.2.1-9.i386.rpm
SL/xorg-x11-drv-via-devel-0.2.1-9.x86_64.rpm

Conversely, the following rpms appear on the DVD but not in the cd iso im
ages:

SL/915resolution-0.5.3-6.el5.x86_64.rpm
SL/jdk-1.5.0_15-fcs.i586.rpm
SL/MAKEDEV-3.23-1.2.x86_64.rpm
SL/MySQL-python-1.2.1-1.x86_64.rpm
SL/openafs-kernel-source-1.4.7-68.SL5.x86_64.rpm

Can anyone else confirm this? -- Jeff
