Filing bugs is fine, but it is only fixing bugs that counts.
Note that the 1st tier distributor has no obligation to fix anything
for anybody in a timely manner.
Even support contracts with specified response times have limits - learned
that getting SGI and SUN support to fix stuff similar to today's perl thing.
To me, the beauty of this whole Linux thing is in how problems can be
resolved on many different levels and cooperation of 1st tier distributors
is not required.
