I also am unable to hear audio here in SL5.2 (default setup) , installed
from liveCD.  I tried both with 64bit firefox and i386 but no audio. I ha
ve
tried CNN and gamespot websites which I frequent and no luck on audio.

I have no idea where else to turn, so thanks anyone here for help with th
