Hello,

I found out that the usb 2.0 support is broken in kernel 2.6.9-78 (smp
version).

If I insert an usb stick I get this in /var/log/messages:
Aug 4 10:14:25 lxcip59 kernel: usb 1-7: new high speed USB device using
address 4
Aug 4 10:14:25 lxcip59 kernel: usb 1-7: device not accepting address 4,
error -71
Aug 4 10:14:25 lxcip59 kernel: usb 1-7: new high speed USB device using
address 5
Aug 4 10:14:26 lxcip59 kernel: usb 1-7: device not accepting address 5,
error -71

If I remove the kernel module "ehci_hcd". I can insert the stick, but it
is only "full speed" and not "high speed":

If I go back to kernel-smp-2.6.9-67.0.22.EL.i686.rpm the problem with
ehci_hcd is gone.

Best regards,
   Andreas
