Many thanks, I'm not actually in a rush 'cos we decided to wait before 
risking ffox-3.

BTW in testing some (brave) people here found that after they ran ff3 the 
first time it didn't convert their bookmarks into the new places database, 
so they needed to manually 'import' them from the bookmarks.html file(s). 
I can't replicate it with my or any test/dummy accounts so I don't know 
how common a problem this is or what the underlying problem might be.
