[ Assuming that this isn't a troll... ]

Every message from the list contains headers describing what to do, e.g.:

  List-Owner: <mailto:[log in to unmask]>
  List-Subscribe:
   <mailto:[log in to unmask]>
  List-Unsubscribe:
   <mailto:[log in to unmask]>
...

so just sending a message to the address:

   [log in to unmask]

will probably unsubscribe you.  See also the link to 'join or leave' near 
the top of:

which takes you to:

   http://listserv.fnal.gov/scripts/wa.exe?SUBED1=scientific-linux-users&A=1

which has a bunch of options.

Many years ago there used to be a mailing list of people who couldn't get 
themselves off mailing lists which cruel people stuck newbies on and 
watched them thrash about trying to work out what to do...
