Thanks to all for suggetions. I have solved the problem. I have just changed
rootnoverify (hd0,1) from rootnoverify (hd0,4) in /etc/grub.conf. It seems
that bydefault SL 5.1 is taking (hd0,4) instead of (hd0,1).
