Hello,
ftp.scientificlinux.org and rsync.scientificlinux.org is being rebooted in half 
an hour.  Although we expect a smooth reboot, please plan on it being down for 
another half hour after that.
We apologize for this inconvenience.  We are hoping that this is the last of 
these reboots that we have to do for a long while.
