Please be clear. The current version of Lyx is 1.5.3.  EPEL is
trailing behind by about 1 year.  That's why I built it for myself.


I'm continuing to search for a linux distribution that will be up to
date on the applications  like R or Lyx or Gnumeric or Emacs but
stable on the kernel & networking. If you hear of such a thing, let me
know.
