Thanks. We use that term to describe South Australian time, wne it's not 
Central Summer Time.

It actually doesn't matter to me, but I think that when one has 
something important to say that it's done in terms _everyone_ 
understands. If I say it's 08:58 WST here, most people will either have 
no idea what mean, or interpret it in local terms.

When someone uses American timezones, the best I can manage is "I know 
it's not our time, and it's not GMT." Atlanta, I recall (from the 
Olympics), is 12 hours away, but I have to think about which day. 
Yesterday, I think.
