OK, I set up the dries repo,

then yum install pari pari-devel worked:

However then the command "gp" fails with this error message:

gp: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libpari.so.1: cannot restore segment prot after reloc:
Permission denied.

Any idea what's wrong?
