In addition/alternatively, you might be able to set a per-user default
printer via the LPDEST or PRINTER environment variables. Nevertheless,
your local "lpr" or "lp" command will need to know about this printer
for things to work (e.g. via /etc/printcap for "plain" lpr, or
/etc/cups/printers.conf for CUPS).
