yes, it's still there.

$ grep 4965 /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
# don't load iwl4965 by default, bug 245379
blacklist iwl4965

I was confused today, because I had to load the iwl4965 module manually. 
But now it's clear why.

However, I don't understand this bug - or is it a feature???

Unfortunately, I don't have any iwl4965 hardware until Monday, but the 
driver was working this morning when I quickly tested it on a laptop.
