In my case, it's under Advanced System Configuration.

On my system, if I disable "AHCI" the DVD SATA drive is seen as IDE drive by the kernel 
(/dev/hdc). However, on my system I don't have to disabled AHCI SATA mode, the SL LiveCD 
works also with the SATA DVD device.
