Yes, it was just wishfull thinking.
I don't have all the documentation right now, but I think I can sum it up in 3 
sentances.

RedHat's 2.6.x i386 kernel (32 bit) uses 4k stacks, which XFS doesn't like
Running the XFS file system, on RedHat's i386 kernel can cause data corruption, 
not always, but enough that you really don't want to rely on it.
If everything you have is x86_64 (64 bit), then you are fine.

But, we're not incorporating it into the installer.
