Hello
tirst you must have on Windows NTFS file sistem and minimum 5 GB free 
space on disc. if you use IE you mybe have trouble with downlading 
image. Bether ckoice its if you use FF. you visit 
ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/50/iso/x86_64/ and vithh 
mouse go an SL-5.0-051607-x86_64-DVD.iso then click vithh riht mouse 
button and choice save target as

I'm Downloading linux without problem
