Being a nedit user, you should test cut n paste between remote hosts
running SL3 and SL4 quite often this kills cut and paste for all
nedits, until all nedits are restarted.

Its quite sporadic though and seems to only effect nedits when you cut
n paste between different releases (Debian, ubuntu and SL3 does it for
me)

All the same thankyou very much this is both a good and easy to use
editor.

I also use VI. I sometimes use scite since this problem appeared with
nedit. I should recommend also scite for inclusion for SL releases.

Regards

Owen
