Hello,
     I´m trying to install SL 5.0_64 on a Intel dual core 64b computer with
a ASUS P5VD2-X motherboard without success. The main caracteristics:

       Chipset: northbridge VIA PT890
                southbridge VIA VT8237A

       Storage: VIA VT8237A southbridge support for - 2x Ultra DMA133/100/66
& - 2x Serial ATA (1.5 Gb/s) with RAID 0, RAID 1 and JBOD.
                JBMicron JBM363 SATA controller support: - 1x Internal
Serial ATA 3 Gb/s, - 1x External Serial ATA 3 Gb/s (SATA on-the-Go) & - RAID
0, RAID 1 & JBOD configuration.

The HDs:  drive1=MAXTOR 6L080M0 SATA & drive 2=Samsung SV2044 (IDE) 

I get from Windows: VIA Serial ATA controller - 5337 on location: PCI Bus 0,
Device 15, Function 0. I/O range: FC00-FC07, F800-F803, F400-F407,
F000-F003, EC00-EC0F & E800-E8FF. IRQ 15.
                    VIA Bus Master IDE Controller 0571 on PCI Bus 0, Device
15, Function 1. I/O Range E400-E40F

 The options on SETUP: JMicron RAID controller IDE, SATA controller ENABLED,
SATA controler mode IDE (alternative = RAID) & EX-SATA/PCI-E*1 Option
EX-SATA (Alternative = PCI-E*1)

 I try apm=noapic, apm=noapic pci=nopci and apm=noapic pci=nopci
apm=allow_ints etc... with no results.

         What can I do? Can You help me?
