Hello again,
I have to apologize for letting that package out, even if it was in 
contrib.  It really was broken.  You have my apologies.

The problem was the hpn11 patch.  In the end I had to remove it.

A fixed version is up in contrib now - openssh-3.9p1-8.SL.4.22

You will need to do a
   yum clean all
   yum update openssh\*

And you will get it.
