I can hibernate SL5 from GNOME, although when it says "Power Down" it's not
powered down, but only halted. But it actually hibernates, and it wakes up
reliably.
How can I hibernate it from KDE? I can't see _anything_ KPowersave or the
like in none of the 3rd party repos for RHEL5 & clones! (Is RHEL5 only for
gnomers? I used to be a gnomer with RHEL4 clones, but I converted myself to
KDE.)
RHEL4 clones couldn't hibernate my old & crappy HP Omnibook XE3-GC/GF, but
SL5 (and FC5, FC6, MDV 2007.1) can.
As I don't want to use a FC6 build of KPowersave, how can I powermanage SL5
from within KDE?
I installed it from the SL5 LiveCD (2007-05-18, not the final one), and it
works great since then.
Thank you,
R-C
