Hi Troy

just a short question: Does it make sense to disable security updates by default?

# rpm -q yum-conf
yum-conf-50-0.5.rolling.SL

# more /etc/yum.repos.d/sl-security.repo
[sl-security]
name=SL 5 security updates
baseurl=ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/5rolling/$basearch/updates/security
enabled=0
gpgcheck=0
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-csieh
file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-dawson file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-jpolok
file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-cern

Urs
