I hate to burst your bubble, but that article is dated December 28, 
2006.  Plenty of time for it to slip.
The unofficial rumor is that the final release candidate (and I think 
this will be released only to major players) will ship at the end of 
February, with the release date being sometime in March.
I believe that rumor was also accompanied with the usual satement of "It 
will be released when it's done"
But ... I could be wrong, it hasn't been the first time.
