I downloaded both the Live-DVD and the Live-CD of SL 5 Alpha.

The SL5 Alpha Live-CD works OK.

The SL5 Alpha Live-DVD loads successfully into GNOME however it gives 2 errors:

1) During boot:

"FATAL: Error inserting acpi_cpufreq
(lib/modules/2.6.18-1.2747.el5/kernel/archi386/kernel/cpu/cpuf.eq/acpi-cpufreq.ko): No
such device"

2) During shutdown:

"Stopping hpssd: FAILED"
