Hello Maurizio,

I recently tried (in vain) to help someone get the Canon MP110 to
print. With the Multifunction printers you need to treat each part
(scanner and printer) separately.

So I figured out that the MP110 printer is the same as the LP1000.
This had an open source driver and a canon driver.

I got it to send the job to the printer, and 'printing' came up on the
screen, however it would not be bothered to push the paper through.

However if you left the job in and rebooted to Windows you could get
it to then comes out, which I do not understand at all.

That was with the standard driver (BJ and some number). Using Canon's
own driver ( http://software.canon-europe.com/software/0022414.asp )
Nothing happened at all.

However that was on Ubuntu and the driver was made for SUSE Linux,
Scientific should be much closer to SUSE than Ubuntu was. So you could
try to google around for what printer is equivalent to your
multifuntion and then look it up here:

Good Luck,
Zeth
