I have both a Prism2 PCMCIA card and an Atheros card that I can use
with my newly upgraded SL4.4 laptop. The Prism2 card uses the
Orinoco/Hermes modules, and the Atheros card uses Madwifi, but neither
seems to cooperate with iwlist, so the access point scanner tools
don't work correctly. I can connect by hand if I know the ESSID
and WEP key.

Anybody else using either of these cards? Suggestions for scanner
apps, or ways to properly configure wireless-tools?

Keith
