Now why would that be an advantage ;-) Maybe I just don't like it because 
it's unfamiliar. Still, I don't like it.

Hasn't this changed with beta2 and you now need an "installation number"?

NB here's how I do unintended ks installs:

   key --skip
   repo --name=SL5 --baseurl=http://.../SL/5rolling/i386/SL/RPMS
   %packages --resolvedeps
   @core
   autofs
   ...

Where I've 'cp -al'd all RPMS into  SL/RPMS and ran createrepo there.
