T60 actually does work with SLC4.4 (so it will with SL4.4 too)

(Note: disk controller must be set in Compatible -
NOT AHCI - mode in BIOS )

T60p has just an ATI graphics instead of IntelGMA950

Now for wireless, T60(p) comes with one of two:

- The IBM Thinkpad a/b/g wireless (Atheros 52XX) works ONLY
with recent madwifi snapshots (madwifi ng )

- I've been unable to make it work with Intel PRO 3945 B/G
using 2.6.9-XX series of kernels and ipw3945-1.1.0-pre2 ...

(but it should with 2.6.16 and newer kernels ..)

As for sleep ... that is another story (already discussed on the list)
... 2.6.9-* kernels just do not support it . Point.

Cheers
