In my case (FJS Motherboard), I had to enable AHCI mode (not IDE mode)
for the SATA adaptor in the BIOS. Otherwise the harddisk was only
recognized as "hda" and the performance was very poor (no DMA). With
AHCI enabled everything works fine. This issue is known by the TUV -
should be solved in SL45, see http://kbase.redhat.com/faq/FAQ_85_8749.shtm
