That (RH) doc clearly hasn't been updated since it still implies the UW 
server (as shipped with EL3).  The giveaway is:

   The default IMAP server under Red Hat Enterprise Linux is
   /usr/sbin/imapd and is provided by the imap package.

There isn't an imap package anymore and none of the options provide 
/usr/sbin/imapd
