Hi Nathan,
Sorry for the delay in replying.

For some reason you have
openssl-0.9.7a-43.11.i686
AND
openssl-0.9.7a-43.4.i686

Yum really hates it when you've got two of the same thing, except for 
things like kernel's.
What to do?
Get rid of the offending openssl

   rpm -e openssl-0.9.7a-43.4.i686
