Dear Scientific Linux world,

Is there a driver in SL4.1 (or 2 or 3) for
Broadcom BCM5785 (HT1000) SATA controller?
(Mobo would be Tyan S3970G2NR)

No mention of it in the Scientific Linux mailing list archives, & some 
online hunting seems to indicate that there is only a vendor-propreitary 
driver from Tyan that will give us the same grief as Adaptec Marvel 
Hercules II SATA controller.

Please and thanks for any feedback/advice!
