I've successfully mirrored SL41. I've even got a local site built and
functioning and installed on 100 or so systems.

My problem is updating the distribution. If I use rsync or lftp as
described in the howto and tips to update my mirror from
scientificlinux.org then it deletes my site. Yes, I've tried the "--
exclude" options but they exclude things on the remote end. I need it
to ignore the site directory on my end.

I'm not very experienced in using rsync or lftp so I may be missing
something obvious. Does anyone else use the site feature of SL? How
have you solved this?

David
