The i386 versions all install cleanly for me, and the changes to the 
specfiles look sane enough.

I've only put them on one machine so far, and only done basic testing 
myself but I've asked the other COs here to try them.  If they don't 
report bad things I'll put them on a few extra boxes for more strenuous 
testing...

I don't have any x86_64 SL3 boxes at the moment so we can't test those.

[ we only recently got some x86_64 capable machines that I'm likely to 
want 64-bit stuff on, and they will go to SL43 once we finish testing it 
and building our local packages etc... ]
