Currently ipw3945 requires a kernel >= 2.6.10, so it will work on
neither SL3, nor even SL4. :(

I believe that if enough people show interest 2.6.9 (and thus SL4) may
be picked up, but it looks rather hopeless for 2.4 kernels.
