Hi,
The contrib rpm's were a bit slow in comming out. My fault, my apologies.
For kernel 2.6.9-34.0.1 you wanted kernel-module-nvidia-2.6.9-34.0.1.EL,
to install that do a

yum --enablerepo=sl-contrib clean all
yum --enablerepo=sl-contrib install kernel-module-nvidia-2.6.9-34.0.1.EL

You should then have your kernel module in the right place.
