There was a bugfix released about two months ago by the upstream vendor (RHBA-2006:0011) for EL 4 (part of the updates from U2 to U3 I think) for a very annoying bug in openoffice: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=170391 in which the spellchecker is unable to replace words. The updated packages are in the SL4.3 distro, so I can get them, but I was hoping/expecting to see them in the SL 4.2 bugfix repo. Is the fact that it was part of U3 the reason why it is not offered in the bugfix repo for 42 (which is empty)? Also, there seems to be an oddity in the 4.3 distro with the openoffice.org packages... Consider the following packages: ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/43/i386/SL/RPMS/openoffice.org-1.1.2-31.6.0.EL4.i386.rpm ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/43/i386/errata/bugfix/RPMS/openoffice.org-1.1.2-28.6.0.EL4.i386.rpm ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/43/i386/errata/bugfix-43/RPMS/openoffice.org-1.1.2-28.6.0.EL4.i386.rpm The verion in bugfix appears to be lower than the original version. Finally, what is the difference, if any, between bugfix and bugfix-43? I guess I'm pretty well confused about the bugfix repos at the moment, - Wayne
