Looks like I removed libpcsclite.so.0 (in favour of libpcsclite.so.1)
too soon, or better said forgot to rebuild wpa_supplicant against the
newer libpcsclite.so.1. I'll schedule a rebuild and the package will
be uploaded later today. Or you can get the src.rpm of wpa_supplicant
and rebuild yourself, if you are in a hurry.
