I recently purchased a shuttle sk21g sff box with the Via vt8237R+ and the via k8m800
chipsets. I have a seagate 7200.9 80GB SATA drive. The graphical boot process just starts
and then hangs on "loading sata_via driver".

From what I've read the sata_via driver has been solid for a while. Could this be a particular
chipset compatibility issue?

Thanks in advance.
