I am still trying to figure out how to get a pty in SL. I have found
programs that will create the link between the master and slave terminals so
that i can send serial commands via ethernet. But, all these programs
require a pty. In Redhat 7 in /dev there are many pty file descriptors, in
SL all i can find is pts/0-12 but these are not the same and will not work
with these programs.

How do i create a pty in SL?
