They are requirements (see Documentation/Changes):

o  jfsutils               1.1.3                   # fsck.jfs -V
o  reiserfsprogs          3.6.3                   # reiserfsck -V 2>&1|grep reiserfsprogs
o  xfsprogs               2.6.0                   # xfs_db -V

OK, I attached the new script, that does not issue "./runme --batch TTL".
It also uses "rpmbuild -ba --target=i686 kernel-2.6.spec" instead of "rpmbuild -bp --target=i686 kernel-2.6.spec".
Nevertheless, I get the same error (see output.txt in the attached archive - it contains part of the output).

In fact, I need a linux distribution for my home PC: 2.5GHz CPU, 512MB RAM.
I'm going to use it both as a workstation and a server. A friend of mine recommended SL for this purpose.
