Yes, I'm in learning mode. I didn't really need to use LVM in Linux,
but I had used it in OS/2 and wanted to see what the Linux version
looked like.

Thanks, I'm an enthusiastic reader of 'howto's. Don't mind learning
curves, as long as there are appropriate rewards at the end of them.
