I'm trying to install IP Filter 4.1.10 on our system running SL 3.0.5
with kernel 2.4.21-37. Everything seemed to compile and install fine,
however, when I tried to start it up, I got the following:
/lib/modules/2.4.21-37.EL.XFSsmp/kernel/net/ipv4/ipfilter.o: unresolved symbol ip_route_output
/lib/modules/2.4.21-37.EL.XFSsmp/kernel/net/ipv4/ipfilter.o:
Hint: You are trying to load a module without a GPL compatible license
and it has unresolved symbols. The module may be trying to access
GPLONLY symbols but the problem is more likely to be a coding or
user error. Contact the module supplier for assistance, only they
can help you.
Anyone out there running IP Filter on their SL system? Thanks for any
help.
