I saw it a lot more with RH8 than I do with SL304.
I rarely see it happen for no apparent reason now.
Usually it's either an NFS hang, or a tunnel is busy
(X11 or something else I'm explicitly tunneling).

At home I'm running SL4.0, and haven't seen it there
in the 2-3 months I've had it installed.
