Hi Connie;

   The default 3ware driver in SL 4.2 does not work.  3ware states that
you need to user 9.3 or newer of the 9xxx software for this card.  I'll
try and get a driver disk done for your contrib area.  We've decided to
go with installing Redhat ES on this machine as we had a spare
subscription available.

Do the default 3ware drivers that are included in SL 4.2 not work with the 
3ware 9550sx  ?

If you build this we can include it as part of the contrib area.
