I have SL 4.1 running on a Dell X1 with intel card, and a few other machines
with various intel cards.
By far the best solution for me has been to download the "experimental"
i810_drv.o driver for xorg @ http://www.fairlite.demon.co.uk/intel.html.

Also look at 915resolution, http://www.geocities.com/stomljen/
