You can go to the freshmeat site:

to still down it. I last looked at this project about 3 months ago, and the
main .org website was running, not sure what's happened to it.

If you're looking for "backups", there's also many other alternatives
including:

* rdiffbackup

* bontmia

which use rsync with hardlinking to provide incremental backups of your
filesystems.
