Hi

 There was a bug fix added to what would be SL3.0.6 that for us becomes
 a security fix.

 With autofs-4.1.3-130 as in SL3.0.5 if a DNS look up fails
 during an nfs automount the kernel panics.

 This is fixed with autofs-4.1.3-154 which is vendors current release.

 For us the situation is particularly painful since our auto.mounts
 are configured equivalent to

 # /etc/auto.master
 /stage /etc/auto.stage

 # /etc/auto.stage
 *  &.gridpp.rl.ac.uk:/stage/&

 So someone who does

 $ ls /stage/Non-Existent-HostName

 does a lookup of Non-Existent-HostName.stage.rl.ac.uk and causes the
 kernel panic.

 Any chance of the updated autofs getting into 3.0.5. No
 worries if not we can easily handle the update here.

   Steve
