When I upgraded to the 2.6.9-22.0.1.ELsmp kernel
on two separate Sun w2100z workstations
I found that both the USB mouse and keyboard failed
to be recognised.
If I boot into the non smp 2.6.9-22.0.1.EL kernel or the 2.6.9-22.ELsmp one
both devices work fine.

On booting 2.6.9-22.0.1.ELsmp kudzu detects a
hardware change but I can't interact with it as
the keyboard doesn't work!
I can however ssh into it and when I then run kudzu it wants to
remove the configuration for the NEC Corporation USB, NEC Corporation USB 2.0
and Sun Microsystems, Inc. Type 6 Keyboard devices.

Any pointers as to how I can trouble shoot this further?

cheers,
Ronnie
